Global Executive Business School  is located in the heart of Johannesburg, South Africa and focuses on enhancing executive leadership across Africa by working with graduates to become exceptional leaders in their chosen field. GEBS was created to help address the gap in executive education across Africa by providing real world, industry focussed, interactive based education that works. To reach the education level of the 10 most productive countries within the next two decades, South Africa will need 4.5 million adults with baccalaureate degrees (1.3 million more than expected at current attainment rates) and, within five years, will need at least 100,000 more science and technology professionals than currently projected. This demand exceeds the capability of South Africa’s existing institutions of higher education.2 Global and national challenges cannot be met without practical solutions. Africa must “future proof ” its economies in order to remain competitive, and education must be part of the solution. The issue, however, is not simply the number of MBA’s and related degrees currently offered. The issue is the lack of applied research and learning in Executive Business fields that ultimately lead to innovation.  Global Executive Business School is dedicated exclusively to Executive Education, learning and research, giving it the unique ability to become Africa’s “University of Innovative Leadership” rather than a university with just a center for education.
